This is not an introduction of a new change but rather a more accurate and standardized way of representing the circulating supply. However, irrespective of this change in the method of circulating supply calculation, the foundation will continue to maintain and execute its internal budget management policy as we have for the past 6 years. [ANN] Announcement regarding Acorn Box Task Abuse Recently, some users have been found to be abusing the process of performing Acorn Box tasks. Examples of such behavior include: - In 'Marking' tasks, users are randomly marking points or not marking the target object. - In 'Bounding Box' tasks, users are arbitrarily marking the target object either too large or too small. - In 'Image Collection' tasks, users are submitting images that do not meet the requirements, or are not following the guidelines provided by example images. Users who are found to be submitting these malicious responses will have their accounts immediately frozen and ACN rewards deducted. Accounts of users who have violated these rules have been frozen. [ANN] Tigris Protocol System Maintenance Currently, an error has occurred between the Tigris protocol contract and the system statistics part, causing some functional limitations and display errors. Our development team is checking and taking actions. The current error is related to system stats and has nothing to do with staked asset itself. [ANN]Maro Blockchain Upgrade(gttc.0.2.3) Complete The Maro Blockchain Network gttc 0.2.3 and related upgrades have been completed on February 27, 2023. The upgrades were focused on converting wallet addresses and txids throughout the Maro ecosystem to a standardized hexadecimal format similar to existing EVMs. The scope of the upgrade includes MARO Blockchain main network, MARO Connect, AcornBox, MARO Scan, and others. All the services are open and running properly now. Notes 1. After the network upgrade, all official wallet addresses and txids have been switched to the 0x form. 2. The upgrade is independent of the consensus itself, transaction history, and token economics, and will not have any impact. Node operators (Representatives) can greatly reduce sync time between nodes by maintaining existing data and only updating applications. 3. Even after the network upgrade, MARO Blockchain will continue to support the existing t0 format. However, the foundation recommends using the officially changed wallet address format. 4. 3rd parties that support MARO Blockchain, such as exchanges, are planning to upgrade gttc according to their own schedule, and will make additional updates to their own wallets. The foundation is not involved in the specific timing of these updates.
